The Rivertown Inn is a perfect venue to host small, intimate weddings. In the winter, weddings are generally performed in the Lumber Baron room which, with it’s large altarpiece, can easily be transformed into a small chapel. Summer weddings often take place in the gardens where the gazebo is available in the event of inclement weather.

Nan was the daughter of John & Anna O’Brien who built the house we now know as the Rivertown Inn.
The Rivertown Inn offers many wedding options. Our elopement package is for weddings of 10 or less people. For weddings up to 20 people we include a whole house rental. You may also rent the public spaces of the house and gardens by the hour for mid afternoon weddings. Larger weddings we refer to our sister property, The Van Dusen Mansion, which is located in Minneapolis and can accommodate events for up to 150 people.
Our honeymoon package is for couples who host their wedding at another venue, but wish to relax and rejuvenate after the festivities in the comfort of the Rivertown Inn. In addition to the overnight accommodations, this package includes upgraded bath amenities, a seasonal floral arrangement, champagne, locally crafted chocolates, massages, a private table for breakfast as well as several wedding gifts from the Rivertown Inn. These gifts include a pair of luxury bathrobes emblazoned with the Rivertown Inn logo.
