Rivertown Inn is proud to announce two new photography packages with local photographer Verna Pitts of Verna Pitts Photography. Verna has a deep passion for photographing and capturing the love between couples and specializes in engagement and wedding photography. We have chosen to partner with Verna to create two separate photography packages our guests are sure to enjoy.
Photography has always been second nature for Verna and she has been weaving the tapestries of life, through pictures, for 26 years. She yearns to grow in her chosen medium by attending workshops and seminars on all the latest developments and techniques. Verna is an award winning photojournalist. She has worked in some of the most art enthused cities, such as New York and Minneapolis, only to discover the tranquil beauty of her own small piece of Minnesota’s peaceful countryside, just north of Stillwater. We are confident that Verna can help provide a unique and memorable experience for our guests during their stay here at Rivertown Inn.
Portrait Package
The Portrait Package includes a one hour portrait session with Verna Pitts of Verna Pitts Photography. The first half-hour will be taken at the Rivertown Inn and then you will continue on historic downtown Stillwater for the second half hour. You will also receive an 8×10 photograph of your choice and an online gallery for ordering. This package is available mid-week only, though limited weekends may be available. The best time for photo-taking is one & one half hours before sunset. $275 per session.

Picture Perfect Package
Bring your camera and join local photographer Verna Pitts of Verna Pitts Photography at her studio in Stillwater for a short lesson including photo-taking tips and techniques. Then, put your lesson to use and go out on the town with her to take great pictures from photo “hot spots” here at Rivertown Inn and in downtown Stillwater. Two hours long. Mid-week only, though limited weekends may be available. The best time for photo-taking is one and one half hours before sunset. $325 per lesson.
