2010 Stillwater Fire Muster

The exciting Fire Muster event will have a gathering of retired or antique fire trucks, about 12-14 of them, assembling at the Lilly Lake parking lot. From there at noon the fire trucks will make way down to Lowell Park. They will be traveling down Greeley, Myrtle, Second Street, Mulberry, and north Water Street, to make their grand entrance at the Lowell Park. Once arriving at the South end of Lowell Park, the retired trucks will be positioned on the lower levy making a three point turn on Nelson Street and placing themselves close to the river. This particular position will allow the trucks to be able to drop their suction hoses into the river and draw river water for pumping or relaying to other rigs. Watching this fascinating system will allow the on lookers to be able to see fire engines, ladder trucks, pumpers, and a 100 foot tall aerial truck respond to emergency situations.
