A Night with Agatha Christie

Love a good mystery? Spend a night with Agatha Christie with the help of Rivertown Inn and Theatre in the Round Players! First, visit Theatre in the Round Players and watch their production of Agatha Christie’s “Unexpected Guest“. After a dense fog forces his car off a remote road in Wales, a stranger finds his way to an isolated house – where he discovers a woman standing over the dead body of her husband, with a gun in her hand. In a daze, she confesses to the crime. But the unexpected guest is not convinced, and the estate is soon brimming with suspects, clues, and intrigue in one of Christie’s finest mysteries. You can experience this wonderful mystery from a whole new perspective with Theatre in the Round’s unique arena stage, where the audience surrounds the action. Its 246 seats are only seven rows deep, so no seat is more than 30 feet from center stage!

After the show, come to Rivertown Inn and surround yourself in the luxury of our Agatha Christie Grand Suite. Like stepping into the pages of the mystery writer’s classic “Murder on the Orient Express,” this suite conjures images of the magnificent train that was the ultimate form of European travel between Paris and Constantinople in the 1800s. The opulent private suite features a berth-style king size bed, an elegant seating area with fireplace, Tiffany-style lamps, and a private outdoor garden terrace. The exotic suite also offers special spa amenities including a tiled steam room with a Kohler water tower massaging shower and separate whirlpool room with a deep oversized tub.

Unexpected Guest is showing on select dates through the month of June.  For more information, please visit Theatre in the Round Players.
